However, unlike the i7+ or other top-rated robots we test the i3+ doesn't have obstacle-avoidance capabilities, so it may get stuck on things such as socks or power cords, and it can have difficulty traversing transitions across surfaces, such as from hardwood to rug.
iRobot suggests that you clear areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, which includes putting away any toys or clutter it may come across. We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning routines and to move around the room, and even vacuum a specific space. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. After connecting, we were able to communicate with the i7+ using voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
In a world of vacuums with cords that feel like minivans or buses, this small Dyson model is an automobile. It's powerful enough to replace a traditional stand-up vacuum in the majority of homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on a bookcase or coffee table.
